Ok I discovered my "distortion" in my Acoustat X servo setup is indeed clipping. I am using a pioneer surround sound receiver as a pre (jumpers pulled) until I get a new pre. The tuner and phono stage sound great I can crank the volume much louder than I ever listen no issues. As soon as I connect a CD player it clips at half the volume bass particularly.
Any thoughts? Making me crazy, I love the radio but listen extension to CDs.
