Hi,
here (link goes to accuphase document) is an add for accuphase's new standalone phono amp.
Included is - partly - the schematic of the piece. At least the MM-twig is quiet unusual -- the input is buffered with fet's -- for the feedback path as well.
What would they hope to achieve -- is it for DC-freeness only?

Very interesting amplifier, though it seems it has not drawn much attention so far. It is reviewed in the current issue of "image hifi" but I have not read the article yet. Anyway, I think it is very "generous" of Accuphase to publish the basic schematics 😎
It immediately reminded me of some designs I had seen before, and low and behold, it has some striking similarities to the first stage of the phono amp that PigletsDad presented some time ago.: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=1393696#post1393696
Higher input impedance for MM cartridges (I think it even mentions this in their text).

Papa Borbely's DH101 line stage ?
Knock yourself out
Thanks, at least I can figure some resistor values and a few other details now.
Papa Borbely's DH101 line stage ?
I have his articles from his WEB pages but can't identify this particular line stage ?
