Here is a subjective question, what is the difference in sound quality between the ACA Mini and the Zenductor? I know one is push pull and the other is single ended. Hope to see you at Burning Amp!
I do not have an ACA Mini or Zenductor but I have and have had amplifiers that are single ended and push pull, and amplifiers with low and high harmonic distortion. As you pointed out the ACA Mini is push-pull and the Zenductor is single ended. The difference in their harmonic distortion is huge, and will be noticeable. Both are second harmonic dominant.
The question is whether you will prefer the sound of one or the other. That may depend on the rest of your system, the music you listen to, and probably a lot of other factors. Some people enjoy the sound of large amount of second harmonic distortion (present in B1 Korg preamp, 300B SE amps, etc) and some do not.
The good thing is that both amplifiers are fairly inexpensive to build so you can build both and listen to them and decide whether you have a preference.
I should add that if your speakers are low impedance, the push-pull ACA Mini may be a better fit as its power output does not suffer (it increases) whereas the single ended Zenductor's power output decreases with lower impedance speakers.
