Hey guys, i recently posted about a faulty, or me not knowing how to use, LCD panel. Anyways, I stripped my computer panel, and took apart my overhead projector, and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction from here, here is everything i have so far.

im having trouble uploading everything, but i have a lens, a frensel lens, a light source, and an LCD panel. I have the reflector from my overhead projector. Sorry about however many posts i added, Im not only new to projectors but also to message boards =D

y did you take apart your OHP ? for starters you could have just made a simple frame for the lcd and laid it ontop of the ohp and wala it works of course you will have major light leaks but then you could get a better idea of whats going on. are you useing the lenses and light source out of the ohp ? if you are then you need to make a box to match the distances that the ohp had for the lenses ( distance from bulb to fresnl and fresnl to projection lens ) here is how mine looks altho im useing a actual ohp lcd panel not a computer lcd also im projecting onto a textured wall its not smooth so that effects the sharpness a bit but over all i got $120 into everything and im happy with the results
