A second try to build a 2-way speaker

Hello, I am new to this forum and also quite new to try to build loudspeakers, no expert that is. I wonder if someone could give me some input on a 2 way crossover that I try to designe with the help of VituixCAD2. The speaker elements are Monacor SPH-165KEP and Scanspeak d2010-851300 tweeter. The box is 18 liter basreflex. I shall try Monacor recomendations for size of tube. I read a lot in the The Cross Over Design Cookbook, so therefore this is what I came up with. The impedance seems a bit low? I had to plot all curves for these elements since I could not find anything online. Also the SPL curve is a bit up and down. Any input regarding this would be nice, if possible. Thanks

I'm no expert either but have built a few. A couple of quick general observations:
  • The rounded corners should help reduce baffle reflection
  • Hopefully the cabinet is braced
  • I typically like to mount the tweeter and midbass close together so that the acoustic centers are within the wavelength of the crossover frequency
    • It helps phase coherency so that you get a single point source vs multiple sources
  • I also typically like to use reverse tweeter polarity with 2nd order two-way slopes (looked like they were 2nd order)
  • You might want to consider an RC zobel network on the midbass to flatten the impedance, but will likely result in some crossover revisions
  • Keep at it, and don't give up until you love them! (you'll know when you're done...or when it's time to try something different) Enjoy the journey!

Thanks a lot knotscott! I will try your suggestions shortly. The tweeter poplarity is reversed as you also saw. This will be fun and I shall post in Multiway forum as krivium says. Have a nice weekend.
