Hey
I need a half 6SL7 tube. What is the type for such a tube. 9 pin type is OK.
Regards
Benny
The 5751 twin triode may be the answer. If you need a section in each channel, use alternate sections and flip/flop the tubes, when wear sets in.
What is the need for a separate tube equivalent to 1/2 6sl7?
Why not just use a 6sl7 and leave one half out. or use one half per channel if that is the need?

Unlike the 5751, the 6SL7's heater is not center tapped. Both sections' cathodes will be emitting, even though only 1 section is in circuit. Monoblock amps would be a good reason why a single section type or a type with separable sections is desired
use the duncan amps tdsl personal version - it allows you to search on various parameters, so you can find tubes that match what you are looking for. Much quicker and more accurate than seeking tubes by universal acclaim.
If you don't mind a 7 pin tube a 6AT6, 12AT6. Basically 1/2 of a 5751 with two twin diodes. Just ground the diode's anodes.
That's why I believe the SRPP was invented. To find some use for the other half of a dual-triode in a single stage circuit 🙂
6AV6 is similar, plus you get 2 free useless diodes...
I was going to suggest that or the 7C6 (loctal base though).
Actually, the diodes could possibly be used if you were going to add a magic-eye or VU meter.
6F5 (has grid cap), 6SQ7, 6SF5, 6AV6, 6AT6, 6BK6 - the only 9-pin single I can think of is the 6T8 (has three diodes you don't need...)
