can Martin Logan Monolith III panels simply be leaned on something for playing music on them or must the statars be securely mounted or pinched snugly within a frame? Not that I'm planning on loosely leaning them against a chair or a wall but I ask in order to shed excess light on my question (i.e. to exaggerate the point).
What I really plan to do is to make a custom wood stand for them but the panels would literally just loosely sit on the stand like a guitar sits on a stand. And these panels would just lean back slightly onto this wood stand.
Below is the concept that I'm trying to describe as my plan.

In other words, can I get away without having a cabinet or anything that secure.
Kind thanks,
Eddie
