This is from the last of the Made In The USA 11x series. After these were made, Fluke quickly moved production to China for the current 11x series. The meter is everything you would expect from a Made In The USA Fluke. Everything works very very well, with all functions in spec. It is lacking a battery door but the battery can be held in with the tilt bail. Comes with a new set of needle tip multimeter leads. Asking $50 shipped.
Sold!Two Fluke Meters (83 and 87) for Parts or Repair
A lot of TWO Fluke multimeters, a Fluke 87 and a Fluke 83 (both made in the USA), for parts or repair. Neither of these work currently, though they could possibly be revived with the right parts. I used to repair Fluke meters but just don't have the time anymore as my career has advanced. These are in the exact same condition as when I received them. I have not had the time to even didn't them. They have just sat in my closet for the past year or two. Otherwise, these can serve as great parts units with many working and good parts inside. Externally, both have the yellow bumpers which usually get lost on parts units, all screws, etc. The internals are in overall good condition compared to most parts units, but there are certainly some parts missing (clearly the display and fuses on the 87). Most of the major parts are there though. I will also throw in a new set of needle tipped multimeter leads with the meters. I can take further pictures if desired. Asking $100 shipped for both meters combined.
