Duke,

As in The Duke..🙂

You know what its like you hold them and then you look at the concrete pen that they are going back into..

Well after he pooped by the back door, he now taps the door with his paw and out he goes very strange. No training..At night he uses newspaper..

He looks like a meerkat when he begs...and has an interest in mince pies..

Regards

Well, that was easy house training.

Mince pies huh? Shoulda named him Tod. Sweeney Tod.

I have a mastif that loves corn on the cob. Oh and moles.
I had a big mole proablem before we got her.
She was a pup and when we let her out she would dig holes in the yard. I thought, great! A dog like that, dang it!
I would get after her for it till I took away somthing in her mouth, saw it was a mole, praised her,let her have at it.
25-40 holes later she dosent dig and I have no moles in my yard.

Dogs are funny, they have a personality of their own. Just like people.
Enjoy your new family member

Congratulations to you for finding Duke and giving him a forever home!!! 😀😀😀

Here are Buddy and Katie - both of them are doggy's that needed forever homes too. Now days I always rescue doggy's that need a home and lot's of love. SWMBO and I spoil the heck out of them - but I haven't tried the mince meat pie on 'em. 🙄

It's often got a suet or venison base.

Yes,

Suet...you can get a vegetarian version as well..🙂

Mince pie - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quite nice with cream or custard..brandy sauce..🙄..think I'll try another one..LOL
Someone said they don't like Xmas pudding it was to dry<<<drown with custard...then you only get the sweet taste..lol (Watch out for threepenny bits in the old days)

As a certified dog trainer and behaviorist, I am always happy when a puppy is rescued from the clinical and stressful place called the dog pound.

Take good care of that baby, they are going to love you to death for what you have done. I know, I have three rescues, one I just got two weeks ago.
