A curious observation

Hi, as I posted earlier, my first diy works, however I have a rather curious problem/question.

when my amp is warmed-up, and has been going for a while, When I flick off the main switch, after a second or two, the sound grows far louder, and more full for about a second, then dies down. any ideas as to why this happens?

Hi, The negative bias capacitor supply drains out faster than the B+ supply, so for a short time the output tubes are biased "hotter" until the B+ caps lose their charge. This will not harm anything because it lasts for such a short amount of time. In fact, this helps with the draining of the B+ filter caps.
