Hey fellow Sharp Panel owners,
I have QA-1200 and like it very much.
Has anyone ever noticed the 640 dots vs 720 dots
option in their panel menu? I tried setting this
option to 720.. but I don't see it make a bit of
difference.
I notice that if you reset all panel settings
to default.. a tiny bit of LCD is left unused on
both sides of the image..
Only with tweaking the FREQ and H-POS settings can I
stretch the screen to fit the entire LCD and use all
the pixels.
I am wondering if there is some secret to this 720dots
option.. perhaps I can obtain the coveted 720x480 DVD
resolution? Hmmmm 😉

I tried out this program called Powerstrip that is
supposed to allow you to make custom screen sizes,
but have no luck in getting the 720x480 setting.
