Less than 2 weeks before the big day i've decided to build a projector using this 7" sonic lcd Tv with a built in tuner here are some pics of the project up to date.http://www.hostclip.com/dl/42c532d1cf8d3e5f90fb4c35fb39ea86
Here is another pic of the assembly the lense is from an epson 700c the bulb is a 500 watt from a slide easy to replace and cheap!http://www.hostclip.com/dl/cf755274ec10a9d6411370e707fcab33
Notice how close the lcd will have to be placed about 15mm away from the lense i have tested this out and i get a nice image from about 3meters away will i have to still use a fresnal in front of the lcd this is my first time building so i have many ?shttp://www.hostclip.com/dl/a77fc4372e71a60db590605e4ffbf33c
Here is another picture of the front where the lcd will be placed.http://www.hostclip.com/dl/9e0a09173675bfb2f3aa00082f0e8235
Try to do a google search for host clip they are there for all to view.Use the upper download numbers etc.I will try to post more as i go.
after doing a few tests with the pojector built i have a poblem with the picture being displayed out it's not showing the full sceen only the centre of the screen is this from the lense as thats why it was used with the small LCDs.
Frens the lcd is in place when i turn everything on including the lcd the image that is being projected is the centre only of the LCD not the entire Lcd only a small portion of the centre about 2inches square right in the light path .The lense is from an epson 700c do i need to change something in the lense in order to get the full size of the LCD.
