5u4 / solid state switchable supply

I am planning on building a biamped project incorporating a 5u4 rectifier tube with filter choke on its b+ switchable to solid state rectifier when desired. The tube lineup shall be two el84s pp and two 6v6s pp along with 8-10 or so 12ax7s or 6sn7s in the preamp driver stages. Does anyone have any knowledge of building a tube/solid state supply like this? Both sections will be sharing the same power tranny. How does current draw figure into the supply design as far as the choke and filters would go?

5U4G and SS rectifiers will obviously yield very different output voltages. The only good way to deal with this that comes to my mind is to use additional transformer windings when the tube rect is used.
