hi guys i search the easy way to build a 300w amplifier...
I have a subwoofer 300W with 4 ohm impedance...
I discover the driver audio LME49830 is the answer....
My question is : which mosfet could I use ?
is it the best solution ? have you other ideas?
thank a lot..🙂

More easy would be this I think: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/chip-amps/206591-tda7294-power-transistors-amp-tda7293-come-also.html
National give test results with 3 different mosFET types..........driver audio LME49830 is the answer....

Just follow what they suggest in their information sheets.

may we know the subwoofer too?
it is likely -but indeed i can be wrong- but the 300 watts are just a sticker,
it may hapen that You do not need more than 100 watts or less to make it explode.
Specialy if it was ment for car use.
p.s.: i'm not mean, i would just like to save you from the trouble of building a big 300 watt amp only to find out that the 300 "what" rated woofer will not handle than a few handfull..

thanks for the advice and i forget to say i've got a 300w subwoofer with 3.5 ohm impedance....
what is the maxim output power of this project....?

Is that 300W rating continuous, or music programme, or peak, or some other?
It may suit an amplifier from as little as 100W if that was a peak rating.
Or it may suit a 600W amplifier if that was a continuous rating AND you ensure the amplifier NEVER sends a clipped signal to the driver.
You need to know what the 300W rating means.

dean95,
You found the right answer.
You might want to use a pair of ACD101NDD and ACD103PDD lateral mosfets.
See:

It looks really, really good, to me.
Cheers,
Tom
do you have any power amplifier using transistor like 5200 and 1943 200 watts to 500 watts? any one can share me?
tranqsogi I have a setup using these amps
