3 way with TC9FD as mid -suggestions

Have been reading a lot of good reviews about Peerless TC9FD as a mid and about how the voicing is perfect and response is flat .
I am interested in a 3 way with TC9FD as a mid with a minimum of 8-10 or at the max a 12 inch woofer in a relatively small enclosure . Can some one point out any plans or builds which I might have missed ?
I did read a 5.5 inch tangband sub build , but the goal is to have an all rounder with a decent spec woofer and a tweeter implementation . The target cost would be under 300 USD for the drivers .
I am not good with speakers and crossover design so I am at this point of time looking for open source builds .

Any suggestions ?

I've not run across many such builds unfortunately. The TC9 has been popular as a wideband, but speaking under correction, it hasn't been as extensively used as a midrange in projects. One of the few I know about is this one, though not quite what you're looking for. Kierkegaard Still, it should be an easy enough driver to work with as a midrange, at least as far as FR goes.

If you go that way, consider some FaitalPro drivers too. I find them to be as good or better in the FR, but with higher power handling.

Faital Pro are costly and not easily avaliable in my country .. As i had mentioned the cost of drivers should not exceed 300 USD . I am looking at building a speaker like wharfedale evo4.2 .

I am not too particular about TC9 .. I am leaning on to it since I have a good feeling about VIFA drivers for voice .

I did 3way with TC9 as midrange a couple of years ago.

The speaker looks good . How does it sound ?

I build this a while ago, little mtm, meant to be used from 150hz up. When you place it on good woofer, it will surprise you with an amazing sound. I think using two of tc9fd gives you better power handling, and close placement of midranges and the tweeter gives you coherent sound with minimized floor bounce.
MTM with TC9fd
Yes I did read up . The Nola clones need a sub i figured . I am looking for a 2 way build .

Yes , Saw the build . That is a nice speaker . I have mentioned the same in my first post . It uses a 5.5 inch sub woofer . I am looking for a min 8-10 inch woofer .

Any builds with soft dome midranges which are good ?

These SB 8 inch woofers are just about $42 US each. I have the smaller 6 inch version. A very good woofer in this price range; I don't know of many others that would have this much good performance in this price range.

I have been happy with the Vifa/Tymphany/Peerless line of less expensive tweeters also.

Vifa XT25BG60-04 Vifa Ring Dome Tweeter - Double Magnet - 4 ohm

This tweeter is hard to beat in the price range; many great reviews here and elsewhere.
