Hello.
I want to do a 2way + subwoofer in the car with a good sound quality. Is important mount speakers in the car holes.
In last car I put a 3 way + subwoofer with seas 27TDFC tweeters, scan speak 10f/4424g00 and morel elate woofers with their crossovers. I don't like morel; is too expensive and poor quality. The seas and scan speak really like.
Now I would like to put a 2 way active tweeters and mid-woofers and under seat sub.
What is a good frequency cut? 2khz for tweeter and 150hz for sub is a good parameter?
What speakers you recommend? I like scan speak but I am open for all.
I would like to have the better mid range and my idea is a mid-woofer with high frequency cut in LPF for better distortion and a sub woofer a little more wide range. I am not sure if this obtain a good result.
A "good" under seat sub exists?
Thanks and sorry for large post.

Don't bother with an under the seat sub (like the cheap powered ones from Boss, Kenwood, etc), they're basically just under seat midbass drivers. Best way to hide a sub is with a custom fiberglass box, that can be expensive.
I'd recommend a DSP for active crossover, and time alignment. Active crossover is best when dealing with raw drivers. Provide some details about the vehicle so we can better help you.

Morel MW266, if its for a BMW it will fit. The only one I`d bother with for such application and you need to cut it as low as possible and let the door midwoofer do most of the hard work. Instead of buying expensive components that would then get passive crossovers, go for more modestly priced drivers (if budget is under consideration) and buy a DSP processor, without it - in car it would be close to mission impossible.
