So, here is my take on a 2sk79 vfet pre. It is based on my 12b4a pre I have been using for a couple of years. It incorporates a Swenson Regulator and Pimm Self Bias CCS. From the datasheet, the 2sk79 looks a lot like a 6dj8 to me, so that's how I treated it. It would need a volume control, PS, and be cap coupled on the output. I left the Cap off the pcb for cost reasons. I have some pcbs being made now to test. Any thoughts?

I'll supply the board with 150v or so. Set the registration to 100-110v. The ccs will be 6-7ma so should bias at about 65v
Hello, I was wondering if you ever finished this?
Funny you should ask, I am planning on starting tomorrow, so I'll update when I've made some progress. Here is a pic of the board.
