We have talked some about the 2sk180 a large 300w SIT but Tokin made some other SITs. One of them was a huge round 2sk182 device rated at 1000W . I have no need for such a part but noticed one Ebay dealer says he has a few of them for $70 each. I am tempted to pick up a pair but really only need a good 10 watts so am resisting the urge to buy them. Oh they do require you sandwitch them between 2 flat heatsinks.

OPLDF ? Being sort of old and only needing a good 5 to 10 watts I will just pass on that part but it shure is tempting to buy a pair of them and go for a 100w SE SIT amp.
Tempted too, but I have enough SIT amplifiers. Also don't want to deal with that amount of heat dissipation.
