Hello,
I'm new here, hope this is the right place for this questions.
I have a NAD7400 that seems to have had a tough life.
2 output transistors and some smaller transistors have shorted.
Seems like the transistors are hard to find, and I have another broken Onkyo SR-805 that have 2SA1962/2SC5242 transistors.
Would these work and be appropriate as replacements?
Can I change 2 of the 4 transistors on one channel or should i replace all 4?
Thanks =)

If the output active devices consist of one pair of BJT,s then yes it will work but they are not exact replacements .
If your other channel is working just leave it don't change anything .
You will have to decide whether they sound as good or better or worse so "will they work" --yes "be appropriate" --not exactly .

Thanks for your reply duncan!
Ill attach a picture on the schematics to make it more clear.
There are two pair of these transistors per channel.
Only the ones marked with a red cross seem to be shorted, but I guess its best to replace the ones marked as yellow with the same type as well?
