Hi,
some time ago I've parted out a big color TV of unknown origin. Among others, I've found a bunch of 2SA1015's and 2SC1815's in there. I had a look into the datasheets and saw they're roughly comparable to BC546 and BC556, but show lower noise, lower hFE and another pinout. Are they useful for anything in audio, hence worth keeping?
Best regards!

For manufacturers like multicomp, the dice are probably the same, it is just the packaging, pinout and perhaps selection that differ.
For all practical purposes, they are essentially interchangeable.
Not worth salvaging, considering the price of chinese-made ones (they are not inferior, quite the opposite in fact)

Frankly, I didn't know that. 'cause I'm not too familiar with Japanese components in general.
But many thanks!
