Output Transformer Type

This may be the acme of stupid questions and may not even be able to be answered here. But I'm gonna try. As I posted earlier, I'm building a 26/71A amplifier. I'll drive the 71A with a 26 or I may drive the 26 with the 71A. So, the question is: What output transformer should I be looking for as far as the primary winding? Secondary will of course be 8 ohm. 2,000, 5,000, etc...
Thanks
BTW, unlike you guys, I don't know a lot about electronics. I definitely couldn't design an amp.

as friendly advise i will not build a DHT/DHT at first you will have to fight with sensible filament supply , microphony , and in need of of high gain preamp or 1:8 transformer input .

i can assure you that with a much simple Spud amp with E55L or 6EP5 you will get the same result and no needs of fancy power supply CCS or interstage.

i have both SE one E55L SPud and one 46/71A SET ( 2watts vs 0.8watts)

Not stupid. Ignorant. Ignorance can be cured.

Read the datasheets!!!

'26 is clearly specified as "RF and AF stages" meaning small-signal.

'71 is said to be "power amplifier".

And happy working conditions for '71 are right in the datasheet.

Note that '26 and '71 need very different filament supplies.
