Hi everyone,
I need to upgrade an aging Yamaha P2250 Power amp with something I can build myself. It is being used as a PA amp for a small church. I own an Adcom GFA-535 and absolutely love the sound, and am looking to build something like the equivalent of the beefier GFA-555.
Any suggestions??
I have the service manual with schmatics for the GFA-555 (mk i), and I am wondering about recreating a clone of it, as the circuitry is fairly straightforward. Etching pcbs is no problem for me.
Anyone have any comments?

Cloning an amp is easy, but cloning the way it sounds is near impossible as you cannot get the exact same part the original used.
