Im looking to make a 2.1 channel soundbar with MTM configuration for the left and right channels. I have selected the following drivers for the MTM, please help me with the crossover design
Dayton Audio ND20FA-6 3/4" Soft Dome Neodymium Tweeter
Dayton Audio PC83-8 3" Full-Range Poly Cone Driver
Dayton Audio ND20FA-6 3/4" Soft Dome Neodymium Tweeter
Dayton Audio PC83-8 3" Full-Range Poly Cone Driver
Here's a useful calculator to start you on your way. Speaker Crossover Calculators by V-Cap
I suggest wiring the two 3", 8 ohm drivers in parallel to give 4 ohms
Choose a second order Butterworth crossover at a frequency of no lower than 4,500Hz with the 6 ohm tweeter.
Add an L pad to give 4dB of attenuation to the 6 ohm tweeter. 10W wirewound resistors are adequate.
Perhaps someone will give of their time to develop a perfectly aligned crossover for these drivers, but you will certainly learn more by first experimenting with this approximate method.

Jarryd, you might have better luck posting in the Multi-way forum. While there is some crossover talk here in Full Range, one of the primary goals of designing speakers using full range drivers is the avoidance of crossovers. Good luck with your project!
In fact, Jarryd, your 3" drivers are full range and could well be used without crossovers and tweeters....one of the primary goals of designing speakers using full range drivers is the avoidance of crossovers.
Their frequency response extends towards 20KHz on axis according to the graph in this link: https://www.parts-express.com/pedocs/specs/295-156--dayton-audio-pc83-8-specifications.pdf
Can some one please help...
Why would you ask crossover question in fullrange forum?
