2.5" liliput lcd projector compatibility?

ebay link for 2.5" lcd

I was begining a PJ build on one of the small, slide projector based pj's and was wondering if anyone has tried stripping a 2.5" liliput similar to the link above for such a project?
Does it have better resolution than the intec/hipgear unit being used by others for this purpose?

I just stripped mine. One FFC at bottom, has brightness, contrast, color, volume controls on PCB... seems to be worth a try. Resolution is less than HipGear i think though. (112,320 dots, not pixels) So it's probably like 160 x 234. Put her out of focus a bit, and why not!? 😉

thanks for the reply, glad it looks promising as I allready ordered mine. To bad about the resoulution though. I would've done the hipgear if I'd known better.
