15A50K Pot vs B50K questions

My subwoofer plate amp has a busted 15A50K pot, could not find any in our area and one salesperson suggested I use the B50K pot, got and installed it and it works fine (I think?). Do you think I would have any future problems ?

15A would suggest the original was a logarithmic track pot and the new one is a linear pot. While it might work OK, you might find the adjustment is odd. Ideally you should find a log pot but if it works fine for you then it's all good 🙂
