Hi,
I saw an advertisement selling an old pair of peerless 3 way loudspeaker. Its 15 years old (!!!) and the owner bought the drivers and xover as a kit and built an enclosure for them.
Its for sale at a very enticing price but I was wondering about the quality and lifespan of Peerless driver units made so long ago as well as possibilities to recycle the enclosures should the drivers fail and no replacement found.
I'll be auditioning it tomorrow but would like some advice on such an old cone loudspeaker design. Feel free to share your experiences with me! 😀
