15" P Audio P150/2226 vs. Monacor SP-38A/500BS

These drivers seem to have interesting similarities as well as seems to be their history. But which one is 'better' ? What are the sonic differences between the two ?

If you'd specify a particular application for these drivers, then someone would give you an opinion. Without design implementation, we can only discuss which one is prettier.

new and old p150-2226 isn't the same (on paper).
and both is noting like simple 2226 😀

Yes we could discuss pretty factors of these, but I was hoping if someone has actually used either, or both, of these drivers. Has anyone ?
Looking for real measurements etc. something useful that is.

It certainly does look like the Monacor is very similar to the old Paudio. However the old Paudio is no longer available, so it's the new I'm interested.

And Hey ! it's not important are they equal to '2226' or not. They are what they are 😀

Elias,

Monacor looks decent and I believe it is good quality piece of PA
equipment. The FR meaurement on Monacor web is one muddy picture.

Beyma has lots of similar drivers with distortion plots.
