Ouch!!

I hope they mount that thing at least 100 feet up in the air. I'd hate to get closer and have the dB's go up even more!

Just for the heck of it, let's see how loud it would be at the normal one meter distance.

Using the traditional formula of: doubling the distance from the source results in minus 6 dB. Or, of course, halving the distance from the source results in increasing 6 dB.

So 138 dB @ 100 feet =144 dB @ 50 feet = 150 dB @25 feet =156 dB @ 12.5 feet = 162 dB @ 6.25 feet =168 dB @ 3.125 feet, which is close enough to a meter.

Hate to be standing in front of that monster when it goes full power, lol. :faint:
