Threw this together for my nephew's birthday. Puts out about 5 watts of clean to crunchy sound. The chassis was a sample of storefront aluminum extrusion that i machined in an evening and added a couple ofmscales for ends. Aside from the transformers, the entire amp was less than $50. I really like this and so does the nephew.
I was planning to polish it to a mirror finish, but the nephew liked the brushed look better. I've done it before and it isn't more than 5 minutes from mirror shiny.
The enclosure would sound a lot better if you were to try a different box. I prefer the Officemax boxes myself.😀😉
