120w sub amp

As my favorite computer speakers died on me recently I decided to fox my problem with a unique solution. What I like about the speakers is the sub. The sat's are meh. So I thought, why not build an amp to replace the proprietary stuff in the set and use the Sub stand alone with some other speakers?

The speakers are Corsair SP2500's. The sub amp is a 2 channel class d @ 60wpc bridged to power the sub.

I would like to build something similar with level control and a low pass crossover.

I am not new to electronics or soldering but I am new to amp design/building.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get going?

A complete from scratch build would be fun, but doesn't have to be. Could be a kit or modding something that is existing.
