115 V panel AC inlet sock for Hifimediy Sabre Coax/Optical DAC ES9023 +CS8416 192k/24

I need advice on the right AC inlet socket for finishing assembly of a Hifimediy Sabre Coax/Optical DAC ES9023 +CS8416 192k/24. I'm very much a newby; the last "kit" I put together was a few decades ago. I can't figure out how to complete the electrical wiring of the device. Wiring the output to the preamp is described in the product description but not how to connect a socket and connect an electrical cable so I can plug it in to electrical outlet. Thanks.

If it includes a power supply that operates from AC wall voltage, then it's reasonable to install an IEC receptacle. Scrounge one from a scrapped computer power supply, but there are fancier "power entry modules" that can include noise filters, power switches, fuses, or voltage selector switches. Power Entry Modules

If there's an outboard power supply, it's preferable to use a connector that cannot be confused with anything else. 4 conductor XLR connectors may be about the best compromise between quality and price and availability.

Dangus, Thanks. That clears things up. The product description only says "On board trafo board can be wired for 115V or 230V. Simply connect mains and you are ready." So with that and what you told me, it seems it's just a matter of soldering a couple wires to the two solder tabs next to the power transformer on the board and connecting them to two tabs on an IEC receptacle (like a 60320 C8). I looked at power entries of similar products I have around the house, some use a two-connector inlet, like an IEC 60320 C1 or C7, and some use a three-connector, grounded. Does that matter with this device, I wonder?
