Hi,
I have been thinking about the light output on them MH bulbs and the most popular ones right now for this projector project are 250-watt and 400-watt.
How about using a 1000-watt bulb that produces 115,000 lumens or a 1500-watt that produces 127,000 lumens. Wow, that means I can use the projector with the lights on and pay like an extra $100+ on my electricity bill. 🙂
I would try the 1500-watt model but the cost for running it will be very high and the heat output. But for the 1000-watt model, it might just work.
---Or my other choice is to get a 250-watt double ended MH bulb dual system (meaning 2 bulbs). Which means the total output is over 40,000 lumens.
