i just bought a sony 1200 watts amp (4 channel). currently i am using 2 500watt 6x9's. i also have a spare Alpine amp (not sure of the power rating) and 2 more Pioneer 6x9's (300watts).i also have a 8" sub aswell. does any one have any ideas about what i can do with all this to get the best performance from the 2 amps 4 6x9's and the sub.
ps. both the amps were bought from a friend but are still in good working condition, the spare amp is no where near the same power as the new one (sony).
thanks

i have a suggestion...
you can use your sony amp for the sub and for the 2 500 watts 6x9. you didn't state if your amp has crossovers or filters... use your spare amp to drive the 6x9 pioneers. set the crossovers to high pass for those channels that will drive the 6x9s and of course, low pass for the subwoofer channels... 🙂
that would be all...
