0r68 3Watt MF resistors for sale in UK?

does anybody in UK (or EU) have these for sale (x10-20)?

sorry, been there too. For some reason they don't stock MF resistors and lead time is 13 weeks...

I only found digi-key so far, but they charge $20 to ship from US (plus UK VAT & custom charges).

Just checked hifi collective - no such value.

Actually there are Mills resistors on hifi collective, but they are £2.50 + vat each - too over my budget.

No, my mistake - they are not MF, but wire-wound.

what are you using the resistor for? source resistor?

That's for F5 r1 amp

then just use wirewound. there is just power. no signal🙂

but this is for the output fets, not for PSU. Is not it supposed to be non inductive (i.e. non wirewound)?

i use wirewound my self on F5 for the source resistors. thats no problem.

i use some vishay's and it is a standar F5 with 30% higher bias. and dual outputs🙂

and you don't need to use dual resistor pr fet🙂 a single 5W will get the job done.
f.ex a single 0R4 insted of 2 0R68 wich is 0R34.

if schematic refers to 2 x 0R68, 3Watt each, then should not the single substitution be at least 6Watt? (sorry about such dummy questions, I am a kind of at the beginning of these things, so just try to follow whatever guidance I have as close as I can)

5W will do fine🙂 it of course depends on the bias. at 1A pr fet and 0R4 you are looking at 2.5W
