Hi everyone! I'm a retired electrical engineer, and after getting into hifi audio several years ago, recently discovered DIY and Nelson Pass. I've built up two ACAs in April, and now just finished an F5M. The sound quality of both are outstanding!
Welcome to the land of "10,000 Amps"!
Edit: Technically it's more like 14,420 amps over 10 watts.

Welcome! There are a number of people in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas that share the passion. I think the Audio Society of MN is on summer break, but they may resume in the fall.
Enjoy!

Things have been a bit rocky since Covid. The place we used to meet is no longer available for various reasons. We are still looking at potential new locations. We have had some online meetings and a few at various locations. Change is hard! Location fees are insane. It is looking like it might cost us $300-500 per meeting to book space even at community centers etc - with the potential of a substantial surprise cost if an attendee breaks something or sneaks in a coffee and spills it on a carpet, sofa, etc...There are a number of people in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas that share the passion.
