Phase Linear, rare amp A60

I am able to pick up a very rare Phase Linear A60, it was under the pro series.

there is not much info out there, around $1000 in 1981

Can someone comment on the design ?
Speaker protection for a pro amp, very rare I guess

Solid state from 1980. There were not so many great sounding SS at the time... Nelson was doing well by then, and there were a few other Class A jobs around, but tubes were the best sounding at the time.

IMHO, Phase Linear was so so compared to today's solid state.

What do you make of the design of the A60 ?

The amp is own the way to my house, here the only available pictures so far

It does not look like the A60 is based in a previous PL model like the A30; which is based in the 300 amp

If you gotta go that route... Nakamichi PA7 Mk I. Even the PA5. Both based on the Stasis circuit. Or the Adcom 555 Mk I.

Or the Thresholds.

Or ARC, Conrad Johnson...

But likely you already bought it... so...
