Hello,
I am looking for plans for a cabinet to fit my Scan-Speak P17WJ speakers. I have recently built DDVP-20 cabinets for my Visiton BG20s. I loved the bass and would like to get a similar sound again. Can you suggest a model I could make? Thanks Very much.

Thank you both for this information. It's not exactly what I'm looking for but it is very interesting. Thanks!

The cabinet is 9”W x 21.5”H x 16”D / 227mm x 546mm x 407mm and is made with 18mm thick material - either Baltic birch or MDF.
There was a picture of the inside of the MLTL-6, showing wire mesh attached across the opening (horizontal brace to the back & sides)
Upper cabinet stuffed (amount?)

Regarding that vintage Danish design. I have listened to it using several drivers ranging from a 4" Altec Lansing A405 to 6.5" Philips fullrange and it sounded surprisingly good. I am sure a modern massloaded fuzzy TL with internal resonators and optimal placement of driver and damping material is way better.
Make an adaptor plate and mount the 6.5" driver in the DDVP-20 cabinet that you have.
If you like the result go for an identical cabinet or scale all dimentions down by about 6.5/8. You can also go the simulation route, and try out endless designs in silico.
