I have two identical stereo headphone output devices. I want to mix the two into a single headphone output. I'd like to do it passively as there's enough batteries to maintain as it is. Each device specs a 10 Ohm output impedance. I'm using ordinary, consumer level headphones. Dont need to go as loud as each device to be mixed can individually.
An appropriate circuit to me would be just a pair of resistor from each channel output, each connected to the headphone coil. But the resistor values? I can only guess. What would be the optimal resistances for such a mixer? Thanks!
