Will Vinyl Engine ever reopen registrations?

Does anyone know about the situation with registrations at VinylEngine (and HifiEngine, etc)? I'm re-engaging my turntable project and would LOVE to be able to browse for service manuals, as well as research/download details on vintage tonearms.

Are they likely to reopen registrations - ever? I can't even find a way to contact an admin there without having already registered.

I've seen some members here are also members there and have graciously downloaded info for others, but it would be lovely to be able to just browse content and interact with the forums there. Thanks for any info!

Yeah, they just said...if you haven't logged in within such and such a time we're cancelling you.
Had a sub and when I went to log in they said 'not an account'

Most unfriendly response ever... not even an email to say 'hey, login to confirm your account before we close out"

Verified member wiped without any communication.

Maybe some other site with access will convert and repost their content but given as this has been so long now I assume the original site has abandoned any further interaction with the community and simply recycle endlessly to their last few members.

I have some feedback from the creator via email a few months back.
He said he was coming to a junction.
The sites are a HUGE headache to him.
He was going to cut it all lose, release it all in torrents or sell administrations.

Looks like the end of an era.
Google Jan 'AudioCircuitDenmark', for an alternative.
