I recently binged the awesome, but mostly forgotten TV series The Invaders (with Quinn Martin's trademark format with actor introductions, Acts 1 through 4 and epilogue). In one episode Gene Hackman played a brutal alien "invader". He was fantastic alongside Roy Thinnes.

Yeah, one of the movie reviewers in NYC said on the radio last week that everyone had an uncle or second cousin who was Gene Hackman.

"Dr. Strangelove" was just on TCM but wifey made (gently suggested to) me turn it off (I switched to Narrowboat). Hackman had a part in that brilliant satiric comedy.
