Hi all
I’m building a pencil cabinet for alpair 10.3 drivers.
Here is a schematic of the bracing
Will it interact the longitudinal standing wave?
Also, should the stuffing be equally spread in the whole volume of the cabinet?
Thanks so much

That is bad. Both not very effective and will degrade the quaterwave resonance somewhat,
Braces shouod be vertical and i like touse the brace to brace the driver against the back (& top). The original Super Pensi12 has suggeted (minimum) bracing,

As Dave said, longitudinal is [much] preferred. If you must use window-braces, try to use an oval / elliptical form-factor rather than multiple rectangles to reduce potential distruption to the longitudinal standing wave, but changing the orientation of the bracing is going to be much more effective & also offers the potential to [lightly] brace the rear of the motor structure.
