I also have a pair of CELESTION CDX1-1430 in good used condition and CDX1-1747, a friend sells me a pair of CDX1-1720, I am new to the forum, I want them for a 3-way system, 1 12" subwoofer, a 10" midwoofer, and of these 3 different Celestion models, which would be the most recommended?
I have the CDX1-1745 (different diaphragm to the 1747) and it is smooth as silk - I love it!

For a three way any of those will work, the 1747 and 1720 allows for a lower crossover which might be good for a 2 way, but not necessary for a three way because you'll likely cross a bit higher to the tweeter for good directivity match with the mid....
