I´ve just moved in a new mixing room looking forward to optimize the rooms response and listening position
Here the sketch of the room and the already installed absorption. Speakers are Yamaha HS7. I already made some measurements today placing the speakers as close to the front wall as possible.
Blue (1st measurement), Orange 2nd, Green 3rd, Purple 4th
In the first measurement the speaker is placed around 1.20 meters from the sidewall (this is the closest position possible because of installed absorbers in the corner of the room). With each measurement the monitor is moved around 20 cm inwards, and the listening position is also moved accordingly. From what I can tell the sub response <100hz gets worse, but the floor dip around 140hz gets better...
