This one goes into protection as soon as 12v is applied (no remote). I replaced :

C30
Still does the same.I'm only getting 2.9vdc on pins 8, 11 and 12 on the power supply IC (S494P).

Is there a Q25 that has its collector connected to pin 12?

If so, DCV on all 3 terminals.

Yes (A1023)
E=13.9V
C=2.9V
B=3.4V
