DC blocker

I would like to realize a DC blocker; which of the two following solutions do you suggest and why?

Thanks

Solution 1. Why? because Solution 2 is ineffective... and I'm assuming that is a typo. 1uF have far to high reactance to be of any use.

If it is a typo then Solution 2 is better as it halves the component count for caps.

This is similar to your example and shows the reduction in offset. The result might even be better if the simulation ran for longer.

That's a good question 🙂

I think they were a carry-over from trying different configurations and where it would have looked like this. They just balance any voltage difference between the caps. Also the caps would normally be back to back like you show to make a quasi bipolar cap.
