Ksc1845 vs Ksc1815 transistors

This is a general question. I used my last Ksc1815 and was thinking of ordering more for my stash. I have over 100 ksc1845s as I use them a lot. It looks like the 1845 is just a higher voltage version of the 1815. Is this correct?
I was thinking about passing on more Ksc1815s and using 1845s if I need an 1815.

The C1815 is rated at 60V and 150mA, 400mW max, whereas the C1845 is rated at 120V and 50mA, 500mW max and is designated lo noise.

So basically if you are withing the collector current ratings, the C1845 will be fine. The connections are the same.

The 1815 is about as generic a transistor as they make. Used in everything, switching, amplifiers, LED driver. The 945 isn’t any more or less noisy, they both seem to be used in preamp circuitry. The 945 is basically a Japanese/Korean 2N3904. If being used as an amplifier, I’d use C1845 for the performance, provided you didn’t need to run over 10 or 20 mA. Yeah, it can handle 50 but the beta will be falling fast. If running higher current, as in driving a low power TO-220 pair or switching a relay coil I’d go with the 945.
