Good day, I’m purchasing some parts but I’m seeing a product status that I’m not understanding…. I need mosfet IRF1404 from DigiKey but suffix as follows ZPBF is 180amp and the PBF is 202amp. I want to choose the one with the stronger amperage but what does “Not for New Designs” means on the status?

Not recommended for new design typically means that the part will become obsolete and therefore not available in the future. It's a perfectly good part for replacement, if that's what you need.
These are, for all intents and purposes, identical. The Z is a slight improvement but nothing significant. If the original was the Z, I'd use it because the drive may be 'tuned' to work with the requirements for that FET. If the Zs were original and the non-Z is used, you may have to adjust the gate resistor values.
