Hi from UK

I volunteer at my local Repair Café, a place where people can bring broken things to be fixed. I specialise in electronics and currently have a guitar amp to look at. The expertise on this forum would certainly help me when I get stuck!

They are always looking for volunteers. It's a great initiative - we can generally fix most of the things that come in, except anything made by Apple of course! Some things we can fix there and then (bikes, some simple electrical / mechanical stuff, clocks etc) but we have to take a lot of it home, especially when parts are needed. I've currently got 2 VCRs, a Hostess hot plate, a mechanical Christmas decoration and a guitar amp to look at! The amp is solid state. I think the TDA7294 amplifier chip has gone but it would be nice to have a schematic so I can power the amplifier board up independently of the rest of the amp to make sure before I order one.
