Thanks guys

Yes. I have had many TLs, and have drawn way more — mostly Woden lines.

My first experince was a set of Radford S-90. I was also a player in the initial introduction of proprt TOL modelers — was present for Augspurger’s AES presentaion of nhis work and at the same time wa helping Martin to first publish his work on the internet. Came to this forum almost 2 and a half decades ago to clear up some TL misconceptions.

I know just enough to be dangerous. I learned quite a bit from Albert Von Sch. I'll try and attach a pic of the spk we last worked on together. This is me in the VPI room from CAF.

Cool. I will check it out soon. I would love to run down my design w you at some point. I am using a scan speak

26W/4534G in almost 6 feet of line. the area immediately behind the driver is 1.25 times the sd of the driver. the mouth is exactly the sd. I am using acousta-stuff throughout. A little bit of egg crate foam in the first 25% of the line. The final 25% of the line I stuff more heavily to make the driver think it is in a longer line (Albert trick). That is done to ear. Your thoughts on my basics?

To start you off (open a thread in the appropriae forum to take it further):

First thing: Sd has next to nothing with the design of a TL. And line length depends on the line taper & any mass-loading.

Soundd like a design usng "Classical Techniques{, maybe a 1 in 10 chance of getting something good, even less that it is optimal. Ibuilt a lot of those.

Hi Dave, So sorry for the delay in getting back to you sir. I and my entire family have been trading colds back and forth. Would you be willing to help me improve upon my design with the given enclosure? For a fee of course. I would love to make them better obviously. I would value your input greatly. My best, Tim

Hi Dave, I do not understand the......So 24.1 x 72.4 x 38.1 > 1:3:1.58
the sub's external dimensions are what I gave. All 6 walls are 1.5" thick. The vent/opening of the t-line I call the mouth as that is what Albert called it. The bracing is 3/4" a grade plywood. What else can I get you sir?
