I'm interested in soundstream car amplifiers from the "handcrafted in the USA" era. I currently own 3 of them. Now in the process of building a system again after I had them stored in the attic for some years
Embarking on a mission to restore and recap a Rubicon 604, Rubicon Lil' Wonder and a Reference 404s. Love fixing stuff to give it a second life, tinkering my car Honda Civic VIII hatchback. Little knowledge of electronic circuits but eager to learn.
I hope to find some advice and information here.

When I posted my message yesterday I never guessed I would get a reply from you! As you mention yourself: "the one and only" 😄
As a bit of an audiophile I'm acquainted with Pass Labs (not sure if I ever heard any of your products though). Untill about 2 weeks ago I had no idea you also stood at the basis of soundstream amplifiers. As I understand the first D and CA series are your design. I love the way they still have the point to point wiring that was later dropped because of costs.
As I wrote before I'm very new in working on electronics. Now learning about capacitors and understanding schematics.
In fact I'm still trying to find the schematics for my reference 404s so if you know where to look or who to talk to I would like to hear from you!
